About the Designer
Celine is a luxury French ready to wear brand founded in 1945 by Celine Vipiana. Celine is currently under the creative direction of Michael Rider. The iconic Triomphe logo of intertwined Cs was designed in 1973 by Vipiana and is a nod to the Parisian landmark Arc de Triomphe. Although Celine is often defined by Pheobe Philo's modern, minimalistic and sophisticated aesthetic, Michael Rider has maintained the brands popularity.
